We finally had the the privilege of shooting at the beautiful Jorgensen Farms for Mariana+Steve’s wedding! Gorgeous location and an awesome group of people to work with make for an ok day :) Hope you enjoy taking a look through these images from their day!

Annnnnnd, we're off! The first wedding of the 2018 season is in the books. It was a little cold, but we all survived. I always have said that we're so lucky to work with the best people week in and week out, and these two lived up to that billing. We were back at the beautify Canopy Creek Farm for this lovely weddin'. If you're still looking for a venue....I mean, this is a pretty great one! Enjoy!

A close to home wedding on an old farmhouse estate with a barn, lake, and style. So much fun was had this day....and it also just re-affirmed that my aspirations in life now include owning an old farmhouse that I'll need to spend the rest of my life fixing up. Enjoy.
This wedding was shot at a barn outside of Indianapolis. Totally worth the 2+ hour drive to spend the day with these sweet people. This is one of those weddings where we totally felt like family at the end of the day. Wish you guys all best!!!
This was one hella-good wedding! I have it on good authority that that means it was pretty cool. We learn things from our clients, and then overuse them until their not cool....like the word hella...I think I've made it uncool. Anyhoo...check out the shots we got from their wedding, and yes, that is a bolo tie...hella cool bolo tie.
Shot this wedding at the Willow Tree in Tipp City. Quite possibly one of my favorite places. It's a relaxed, gorgeous environment that has everything a photographer would ask for. It's pretty great, let alone how great Brittany and Darren are.
Interesting note with this here wedding; we were the photographers for Carlye's high school senior photos! What!!???! We can't describe the feeling we get when past clients do everything they can to hire us for shoots later on in life. It's sounds super cheesy and all, but a lot of times our clients become mini extensions of family that we keep a relationship with forever. For this wedding, we traveled back home to Indiana. Gorgeous location for getting ready, an RV, and tromping (I think I just invented a word) around on a golf course. Oh, it was HOT too...like 95 degrees with 140% humidity; or something like that. These guys were professionals though!
Megan and Nick, you guys are a sweet, chill, adventurous couple and we're so happy we got to tag along for the start of your marriage...IF anyone is looking for a sweet venue to get married at; The Transept is pretty freaking awesome. Also....Cincinnati is beautiful.
We love it when our clients have style and are chill. That's these two. We love everything about this wedding; the venue, the super personal wedding ceremony, the dècor...the people. Thanks for having us shoot your day guys!
Brightening up Monday with a stunning wedding! Big family. Classic elegance. Firemen brotherhood. Just a few of story lines with this gorgeous wedding! The Glendale Lyceum did a phenomenal job with all of the details...and can we talk about that window light for the first dance!!!
We can't say enough about these two amazing human beings. We were so friggin lucky to be able to share so much of their journey with them. From engagement session shenanigans, to a wedding ceremony in the Dominican Republic, to another wedding reception in Columbus Ohio that consisted of Buckeye Donuts, food truck tacos, and beer. Just want to say that we love you guys! Thanks for choosing us to capture these moments for you!

California laid-backness (yeah, that's a word). Gorgeous couple. Notre Dame. Cookies and milk instead of cake. Fresh roasted coffee favors for the guests. Father of the bride speech complete with a baseball bat. Sunset. What more can we ask for?

The "off-season" provides us some time to slow down, catch up, and reflect on the awesome clients we've worked with over the year. I ALWAYS tell myself that we'll stay more current with posting and "blogging" and all of that jazz, but reality is that we're just too dog-gone busy during the wedding season to give the appropriate attention to each wedding AND stay on top of this. Sooooo, enjoy all of the winter blogging :)
